Famous Architect’s building: Application of Architectural and Structural materials

​

In this project, we were required to choose an architect and a building they designed for a case study. We were to identify 5 architectural building materials and 2 structural building materials based on the case study. Additionally, ideas, concept and propertied of the selected materials used in relation to the building design and construction should be studied. Additional background information of the architect and building should be included as well. All information should be presented on 2 A3 boards.

Through this project I was able to identify building materials that may be useful to me in my career as an architect in the future. I was also able to improve my skills on creating a presentation board that is not only able to communicate information well, but interesting and eye-catching as well. Overall, this project was very fun to me as I was able to flex my graphic design skills.
