Bamboo Art Space Inspired by Traditional Arts and Craft

Theme: Bamboo Art Space Inspired by Traditional Arts and Craft

Each team of 5 students and mentors have to find a prototype derived from a traditional art and craft technique, develop or transform it into an innovative design structure to form a bamboo art space which is within 6m diameters at the base and 7m at the top with bamboo as its main structure. It functions to exhibit images and pictures of traditional craft techniques and to elaborate the relationship with them. Final submission includes presentation boards, working drawings, video animation and 1:20 Scale model.
